    We are seeking dynamic candidates to join the team in an increasingly busy department. The department sees over 60,000 patients per year with approximately 25% paediatric presentation rate and a growing admission rate of 24-25%. A 12 bed Short Stay Unit is also managed by ED.

    The department has a culture of supervision and support for junior medical staff. This includes proactive training for HMO and Registrar groups, protected weekly training sessions, multi-disciplinary M&M and a responsive positive feedback program.

    We are looking for doctors who have a team focus, exceptional communication skills and a desire to learn emergency medicine skills in a regional setting. The department places a high priority on patient centred care and a supportive team environment.
